Shakes and smoothies are some of the easiest ways to get greens into our kiddos bodies. One of our kids is on the bottom of the growth curve. He's always been at that place on the curve, so there's no major concern of growth. However, giving him this shake allows us to get more calories into his body throughout the day.
Tips for this recipe: If your child is older than two and does not need an additional amount of calories added to their diet, feel free use a lower fat milk.
Healthy Greens Shake
Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 1 minute | Serving: 1 shake
1 Cup Whole Milk
1 Cup Spinach Leaves
1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
1. Place all ingredients into a blender.
2. Blend together until spinach is smooth.
3. Pour into a cup and enjoy!
